Film Femmes is a blog about 2 female graduate film students. We still possess the title of "student" technically because we have yet to complete our Thesis films.
FOR MANY VARIED REASONS
To explain and examine our choice to pursue this particular degree from the course program that we chose. Also to be addressed:
- why it has taken so long to complete a documentary;
- required courses taken to fulfill the major,
- favorite classes and not so favorite. :)
- the fate of classmates that were also in the program.
- discuss our favorite directors, and our desire to join the ranks.
Above all I want future and present film students to learn from us, especially women because of the ... unique challenges we face as caretakers of families, working within extreme financial challenges and trying to enter an industry that is STILL male dominated.
